Imagine Him Engels Rodgers Must Unleash Celtics Big Game Player

Imagine him & Engels: Rodgers must unleash Celtic's "big-game player"

The German playmaker has been in impressive form this season

But he has yet to start a Champions League game for the Hoops

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers must unleash Olivier Ntcham in the Champions League, according to former Hoops midfielder Paul Lambert. Ntcham has been in impressive form for Celtic this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists in all competitions. However, the 22-year-old has yet to start a Champions League game for the Hoops. Lambert believes that Ntcham is a "big-game player" and that Rodgers should not be afraid to throw him into the starting XI for Celtic's upcoming clash with Bayern Munich. "I think Ntcham is a big-game player," Lambert told the Scottish Sun. "He's got that bit of quality that can unlock a defence. "He's not afraid to take risks and he's always looking to make things happen. I think he could be a real asset for Celtic in the Champions League." Ntcham joined Celtic from Manchester City in the summer of 2017. He has made 55 appearances for the Hoops, scoring 12 goals. The French midfielder has been capped once by his country. Celtic are currently third in Group B of the Champions League, with three points from three games. They face Bayern Munich at home on Wednesday night.
