Cavs Fall Short in Rematch of Last Year's Eastern Conference Finals

The Boston Celtics are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-88 in Game 6 on Tuesday night at TD Garden. The Celtics took the series 4-2 and will now face the Miami Heat in the next round.

Paul Pierce led the way for the Celtics with 25 points, while Ray Allen added 22 points. Kevin Garnett also had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. The Celtics shot 50.7% from the field and held the Cavaliers to just 37.8% shooting.

LeBron James led the Cavaliers with 27 points, but he had little help from his teammates. Antawn Jamison added 16 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 14 points and 11 rebounds. The Cavaliers were outscored by 20 points in the fourth quarter.

The Celtics will now face the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, which begin on Thursday night in Miami.
